GPU, logs, and beta caveats

Same GPU-vs-CPU selection as Windows. Check DigUp’s local logs (path may vary by package):

~/.local/share/com.arahim3.digup/logs/speed.log

First-run checklist

  1. Confirm you installed from ARahim3/DigUp Release assets only.
  2. Wait for the ~865 MB model (or use offline files if documented for your build).
  3. Select local folders (not undownloaded cloud placeholders).
  4. Test Ctrl+Shift+Space and a natural-language photo/PDF query.
  5. If GPU expected but missing, open speed.log and file an upstream issue with that line.
